Do you wonder how cooks become great cooks? Is it in their genes? Are they born with the gift? Have they always enjoyed cooking as a child until now? Or did it come out later not knowing that you had a gift but didn’t know it until now? I believe a great chef grew up around great grandmothers, grandmothers, and mothers who knew just how to cook and they learned from that. I don’t believe that you can become a great chef by just going to school although it does help with the basics.
